Barely got our car to their location which was about a half mile up the road. We were at their mercy pretty much the day before the 4th. Dropped off around 2pm hoping to hear back within an hour or two about the issue...4 hours later (right before they closed)..as we wasted our whole day waiting to hear of what to do next...they called to say they needed to keep it until the next business day (2 days later). I don't appreciate when car places blow smoke up your a** about why they do the stupid stuff they do?! But, 4 hours to charge a battery so you can figure out what is wrong with a car is unbelievable and honestly a really pathetic excuse for keeping a person waiting without a car. I guess the best part is they actually had it done promptly 'the next business day' and without gouging us on the price too much, well maybe just a bit...$150 for labor on a job that should take 1/2hr...must have been that battery charging ordeal. I think we still could have gotten it done cheaper but, again, we were at their mercy because the car only made it up the road. Additionally, is it normal to get a car back with any 'check engine' or whatnot lights on?? One would think this would be addressed and/or simply reset upon completion of work. It's quite possible the fact that the car shut down set off random sensors. The lady told me they didn't check that issue because the car came in with that light on...well no crap...the car died upon drop off. What in the utter hell??
